This year will mark Summit’s first attendance at the Irish Polymer Group Gala Dinner, a well-known highlight in the Irish polymer industry calendar. As we continue to grow our presence across Ireland, we are looking forward to attending this prestigious event, reconnecting with industry peers, and strengthening relationships within the Irish plastics community.

Summit Systems will be attending the Scottish Plastics & Rubber Association Annual Dinner Dance for the second time, this year as a proud event sponsor. As one of the industry’s most established social occasions, it’s a great chance to reconnect with customers and colleagues from across the plastics and rubber sector and support the Scottish industry community.
Summit Systems is proud to host Ireland’s first Big Data event for the injection moulding industry. This one-day, industry-focused seminar is designed for medical and technical moulders looking to strengthen data capture, traceability and process validation across connected manufacturing environments.
In modern production facilities, data is everywhere. Real value is achieved when machines, ancillaries and software systems genuinely work together. This event will explore how connected manufacturing enables accurate, meaningful data reporting across the moulding cell, supporting improved consistency, compliance and informed decision-making.
Hosted at First Polymer in Athlone, the event brings together leading technology providers including Sumitomo Demag, Plastech, BFA Solutions, Frigel and Maguire. Together, they will demonstrate how fully connected machinery and ancillary equipment can transform data acquisition across injection moulding operations.
The agenda will examine the role of OPC UA communication, MES platforms and integrated ancillary systems in delivering robust, reliable production data. Attendees will gain practical insight into improving traceability, enhancing quality control and supporting regulatory requirements, particularly within medical and highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Summit Systems will present Frigel’s Dynamico™ intelligent temperature control technology, highlighting how recent advancements designed specifically for injection moulders can significantly reduce cycle times while delivering measurable energy savings. The event will also introduce Maguire’s vacuum drying technology, capable of delivering up to 85 percent energy savings compared to traditional drying systems, while offering full connectivity to MES platforms for clearer reporting and improved process visibility.
Alongside this, attendees will hear from industry experts through focused presentations and live, working demonstrations. Further sessions will showcase the latest machine control technology from Sumitomo Demag, machine and ancillary connectivity solutions from Plastech and BFA Solutions, and training and skills development opportunities delivered by First Polymer.
The event will take place at First Polymer in Athlone on either 24 or 25 March, with identical content delivered on both days. Lunch will be provided.
Places are limited to ensure meaningful discussion and interaction. Please reserve your place by completing the registration form and confirming which day you will be attending.

Summit Systems will be exhibiting again at the Irish Polymer Group Annual Conference, returning to Hodson Bay in Athlone following a successful first appearance. This prestigious event brings together industry leaders, engineers and innovators from across Ireland and beyond to discuss the latest challenges and developments in plastics manufacturing.
Building on the strong connections made last year, our continued presence at the conference reflects Summit Systems’ ongoing commitment to the Irish plastics market. The event provides an ideal platform to engage with key industry stakeholders, showcase our technologies and expertise, and demonstrate how we support Irish manufacturers with long-term, value-driven solutions.

Summit Systems will return to Interplas 2026 showcasing how intelligent automation, advanced cooling and material handling technologies can help plastics manufacturers reduce energy consumption, cut operating costs and improve product quality. The stand will feature proven solutions including Maguire’s gravimetric blending and ULTRA vacuum drying technology, alongside Frigel’s Dynamico intelligent temperature control system, engineered to significantly reduce cooling cycle times and boost productivity. Visitors will be able to see how these technologies work together to create cleaner, more efficient and more sustainable production environments, with Summit’s specialist team on hand to offer practical, application-focused advice across injection moulding, extrusion and recycling.
The first Maguire Open Day at Summit Systems will give UK processors the opportunity to see Maguire technology in action within a real production environment. Hosted at Summit’s facility, the event will combine live demonstrations and practical presentations to showcase Maguire gravimetric blenders, material feeders and ULTRA vacuum drying systems, including the PITSTOP concept. Attendees will gain insight into how these solutions integrate with data-driven manufacturing and the Maguire MOU programme to deliver consistent material control, improved efficiency and reliable production performance, with the Summit team on hand to discuss applications and project requirements.
More information will be released soon. If you would like to register your interest early, please email events@summitsystems.co.uk.
