Plastic Granulators

While shredding, grinding and granulating all involve size reduction, they differ in technique and application:

A plastic granulator is a size-reduction machine used to recycle plastic waste such as sprues, runners, edge trim, purgings and rejected parts. Rotating and fixed blades cut the material into consistent regrind, allowing it to be reused in the manufacturing process, reducing waste and lowering raw material costs.

The ideal granulator depends on the type of plastic being processed, material size, required throughput, available floor space and whether the system will operate in-line or off-line.
